Good news for skittlers -Ship Inn alley to stay open

skittlesAN emergency emergency general meeting off Lyme Regis Skittles League last week was very well attended when it was announced on the night by Palmers Brewery that the Ship Inn will remain open and will continue to host  skittle games.

There may be a week or two where some flexibility will be needed due to the refurbishment of the pub, but disruption to the league will now be minimal. League officials have thanked Palmers for their efforts in achieving this outcome.

Last week’s report needed two corrections. Ladies league – Wootton Wobblers should have been Won 8 (was showing 7) – rest of entry correct and did not affect league position. Second was in the Men’s high scores, it was Neil Charleton 70 (and not Neil Bowditch).
