LYME Rocks is the newest business to open in Lyme Regis, offering its customers traditional sweets and treats with a funky twist.

Owned by Fiona and Leo Markham, and with friend Heather Larcombe helping to set up the business, Lyme Rocks is based under the Guildhall in Bridge Street and has proved a huge hit with both residents and visitors during the half term break.

Rediscover your childhood favourites or pick something new from the vast selection of traditional sweets in jars, including some sugar-free and vegan options.

From Halloween and Christmas to Valentine’s and Easter, Lyme Rocks will be celebrating all the major holidays with special-themed treats.

It also offers a selection of ice creams, dairy-free sorbets and fat-free frozen yoghurts. There’s really something to suit all tastes!

While the new shop may stock all your old favourites, Lyme Rocks is a modern take on the traditional sweet shop, with its funky interior designed and painted by art students from the Woodroffe School.

There’s also plans to stock a range of contemporary gifts imminently. Opening hours will be seasonal but at the moment core opening hours will be Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm.
