Uplyme Morris supports RAF Association

UPLYME Morris supported the Royal Air Force (RAF) Association’s charity event ‘Tea for the Few’ in West Bay on Saturday, August 24.

The morris side delighted crowds with their dance sessions throughout the afternoon.

The association supports past and present members of the RAF as well as local charities. The event raised nearly £300.

The morris side has two ex-RAF members itself. Bill, who dances, is a former navigator on jet bombers and Gavin, who plays the melodeon, was formerly in the educational branch of the service.

Uplyme Morris will be performing throughout September and October in Lyme Regis. Check the ‘Uplyme Morris’ Facebook page for performance dates and times.
