SIDMOUTH Road in Lyme Regis will be closed for resurfacing work from Monday, January 14 until Thursday, January 17.
The road will be closed from its junction with Cobb Road up to the junction with Shire Lane on the county border, a distance of approximately 1,045 metres, between 9am and 4pm each day.
Residents of Sidmouth Road should have been informed of the closure, but some on joining roads may not have received notice and will have to speak to the workmen to gain access to and from their homes during the road closure.
The closure will temporarily affect the route of the X51 and X53 bus services, which will come into town via Silver Street rather than Sidmouth Road.
Timber Hill in Lyme Regis will be closed between January 21 and February 1 for maintenance work. The road will be closed for 24 hours a day but will be reopened during weekends over this period.
Coombe Street will be closed between the Monmouth Street and Bridge Street junctions overnight from 7pm on January 28 to 7am on January 29,. The closure is to allow BT to repair and restore customer connections.
Colway Lane will be closed outside number 5 for a distance of approximately 10 metres from February 11 to February 21, to allow S&D Services to carry out a new connection to the existing sewer. The whole width of the road will be closed and therefore impassable so drivers should follow diversion signs.
