Sea School Trust receives £1,000 from Tesco

LYME Regis Sea School Trust was delighted to receive £ 1,000 from the Tesco’s Bags of Help Scheme.

Tracey Rowe from Tesco presented the payment to the Sea School’s principal Nikky Williams and boswain Ray Waspe.

The money was donated after Tesco customers used blue tokens to vote for their favourite of three good causes chosen for the Bags of Hep Scheme.

A spokesperson for the Sea School Trust said: “The Sea School is greatly appreciative of the blue token donations made by the customers of Tesco’s whilst shopping. This has enabled us to renew and upgrade our buoyancy aids.

“It is vitally important that the safety equipment we provide our students is up to date and in good working order. The donation from the Bags of Help scheme has enable us to do this.”

The trust is offering intensive week-long sailing courses this summer, starting on July 15, 22 and 29, and August 12 and 26.
