Langmoor Gardens gatepost collapses after being hit by lorry

THE gatepost at the entrance to Langmoor Gardens in Lyme Regis has collapsed after being hit by a lorry. 

The lorry was delivering a skip to the building site in the public gardens, where work is being carried out to 19A Broad Street, this morning (Wednesday) when it hit the brick pillar and gate off Pound Street.

Town council staff have made the the area safe with barriers and the contractor is in contact with their insurance company to repair the damage.
