Death of former Lyme Regis landlady

amanda butlerLYME Regis was saddened by the death this week of a former landlady at the Cobb Arms in Lyme Regis.

With her husband Martin, Amanda Butler built the Cobb Arms into one of Lyme’s most popular pubs and restaurants in the 1980s.

Mrs Butler, 72, died in hospital after suffering a major stroke.

The funeral will be held at Uplyme Parish Council on Friday, February 9th at 2pm.
