Hopes to reunite phone and proposal note with owner

A message that reads 'Marry me?' was found inside the phone case

A SENTIMENMTAL note that reads “Marry me?” has been found with a phone on Charmouth beach.

Local resident Paulette Ward found the mobile while out walking her dog this morning (Monday) at about 8.10am. She took it home to try and dry it out, but when taking off the case she found the sentimental scrap of paper inside.

The phone has suffered some water damage, but Paulette is still keen to reunite it and the message with its owner.

She said: “The message obviously has great sentimental value to the lady who kept it with her, and I would like to be able to get the paper and phone back to their owner.”

If you are the owner, please call Francesca Evans from LymeOnline on 07810 221 420 or email francesca@lyme-online.co.uk, and she can then put you in touch with Paulette.
