Lyn and Jason Martin and celebrating five years at Dorset House in Lyme Regis

OWNERS of Dorset House in Lyme Regis, Lyn and Jason Martin, are celebrating five years of hosting guests at their bed and breakfast with the exciting news that they have received a gold award from the sustainable tourism body, Green Tourism.

The B&B was brought back to life after a long renovation which focussed on sustainable materials and energy efficient technologies and has since then strived to use the best local suppliers and ingredients.

Green Tourism praised Dorset House’s commitment to ethical sourcing and initiatives to reduce waste and plastic, as well as their support of community charities such as the RNLI.

“We’re immensely proud of this award and will continue to look for opportunities to further improve our sustainable ethos,” said Jason

Since opening their doors five years ago, Dorset House has won as string of awards for its service including best B&B in Dorset for the last three years, culminating in best tourism business in Dorset.

Lyn and Jason plan to celebrate their five years in business with a series of events and treats for their guests.
