Journalist Kate Adie to give talk at Charmouth church

JOURNALIST and former BBC chief news correspondent Kate Adie will give talk at St Andrew’s Church in Charmouth. 

‘An Evening with Kate Adie’ will be held on Friday, November 2 from 7.30pm, in aid of Changing Spaces, raising funds for the restoration of the church with the aim of providing a space for the whole community.

During her time as chief news correspondent, Kate Adie became well known for reporting on war zones around the world.

She is also the long-serving presenter of Radio 4’s ‘From Our Own Correspondent’ and a presenter and contributor for many other radio and television programmes.

She will be recounting stories from her career and there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask her questions.
