YOUTH music charity B Sharp paid tribute to its founder Fran Williams, who will stand down this month, at its recent annual general meeting.
There was a celebratory mood at the event held in the Driftwood Cafe at Lyme Regis Baptist Church, with the formalities of the meeting being followed by a leaving party.
Fran founded the Lyme Regis-based charity 10 years ago, and tribute was paid to her hard work and dedication by chairman of the board of trustees, Hannah Lovegrove. She was then presented with a bouquet of flowers and a cake in the shape of a grand piano.
The meeting also heard from young members of B Sharp, who shared how the charity had helped change their lives.
Fran will officially step down as chief executive and artistic director later this month, with Ruth Cohen announced as her successor.
Ruth, who also attended the annual general meeting to meet members and supporters, has previously been working with Daisi, the Exeter-based, arts-inspired learning organisation.
