LYME Regis Comedy Club will this month be headlined by a BAFTA award-winning actor.
Dave Johns famously played the lead in ‘I Daniel Blake’, Ken Loach’s critically-acclaimed and multi-award-winning film, which won the much coveted Palme D’or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
As well as an actor, he’s a celebrated comic who has made guest appearances on many television programmes, including ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’, ‘8 Out of Ten Cats’ and ‘The Football’s On’.
“Shifting from hilarity to uproar to genius in the blink of an eye” – The Guardian on Dave Johns
