Star of ‘Live At The Apollo’ and Funny Women Award winner appear in Lyme Regis

THE headliner of April’s Lyme Regis Comedy Club is Chris McCausland, a British stand-up comedian and actor from Liverpool and star of ‘Live At The Apollo’.

Chris is visually impaired and calls himself ‘the blind comedian’. He has been performing stand-up since 2003, and has long been firmly established at the very top of the UK’s live comedy circuit.

He performs all over the country, including regularly at the world famous Comedy Store in the heart of London’s West End.

Chris has also appeared on many programmes including ‘Live at the Apollo’, ‘Comedy Central at the Comedy Store’,  and Jimmy Carr’s ‘Celebrity Deal or No Deal’.

Suzy Bennett, winner of the Funny Women Award, and Andrew White are also on the bill.

Suzy is a dynamo of a comic with a chatty stage presence. After her appearance on Comedy Idol, Suzy was asked by Jimmy Carr to support him on his ‘Gag Reflex’ tour.

Highlighted by Chortle as ‘One to Watch in 2018’, Andrew White is an up-and-coming comedian “not to be missed”.

The monthly Lyme Regis Comedy Club will be held at the Marine Theatre on Saturday, April 20 hosted by resident MC Tom Glover. The bar opens at 7pm for an 8pm start.

Tickets cost £8 in advance or £10 on the door, with 10% off for Theatre Friends. To book, call 01297 442138 or visit
