Living Spit brings ‘Swan Lake’ to rural Dorset

SWAN Lake – the most famous, magical, water-based avian ballet ever performed. But expensive, high-brow and normally only at a big city theatre miles away from where you live… well, not any more!

This December the inimitable Living Spit are heading to Dorset for three performances of their brand new show ‘Swan Lake’ with Artsreach, the county’s touring arts charity.

Teaming up with Somerset producers Theatre Orchard, this comic duo will present the smallest ballet ever performed (probably). With Howard and Stu joined on stage by two professional ballet dancers, this is a proper ballet – in miniature.

The dynamic duo have promised to leave the tutus at home, but promises are made to be broken…

Choreographer Holly Noble has previously worked for English National Ballet and Sadler’s Wells as an Associate Dance Artist and was English National Ballet Youth Company Artistic Director.

Teaming up with Howard and Stu, they just might have created the funniest, danciest, water-fowlest micro-ballet the world has ever seen!

Living Spit will perform ‘Swan Lake’ at Wotton Fitzpaine Village Hall on Friday, December 13 (call 01297 560948 for tickets) and at Lytchett Matravers Village Hall on Sunday, December 15 (01202 623299).

Tickets for both venues are now limited and can be booked by calling the numbers listed or visit www.artsreach.co.uk
