Rotary Club welcomes new member

THE Rotary Club of Lyme Regis was delighted to welcome new member Graham Pickett.

Graham was welcomed to the club by president-elect Richard Main at a recent meeting (pictured above).

He has recently retired as a senior partner and vice-chairman of Deloitte LLP, the global professional services firm.

At Deloitte, Graham specialised as an aviation industry advisor and has worked with many of the world’s airlines and airports.

He is currently undertaking a course at Lyme Regis Boat Building Academy.

Graham has many hobbies and interests, including wine, sailing, classic cars and classical music to name but a few. He is married to Lynne and has twin daughters, Lisa and Jenny, who both live in London.

Graham and Lynne have been very active for sometime in helping the club and other organisations in the town and Rotary members said his membership would be a “great asset to the club and the community”.

The Rotary Club of Lyme Regis is keen to welcome new members. The club meets informally to socialise and undertake many activities to help the local community and, through Rotary International, the world at large.
