Lyme Bay Ladies prove they’re ‘Stronger Than Thought’

THE networking and social group Lyme Bay Ladies hosted a mini conference at the Fernhill Hotel, between Lyme Regis and Charmouth, earlier this month with the theme ‘Stronger Than Thought’.

The sell-out event was organised by Lyme Bay Ladies founder Lisa Eastwood and entrepreneur Victoria Casebourne, who brought together almost two decades of self development research, books, programmes and personal experience of building a successful business while battling with anxiety and depression, with Alicen Dines chairing.

Seventy members of Lyme Bay Ladies listened to guest speakers Tracey West, Jane Hanford, Danielle Downey, Annie Lee and Maria Morris who shared moving and sometimes humorous stories about how they had overcome difficulties in their own lives to become professional, successful and confident women, and offering tips and exercises to help the audience become ‘Stronger Than Thought’.

Lyme Bay Ladies has been a huge success story. Lisa launched a Facebook group in 2015 to bring together like-minded women for friendship, support and business networking.

The Facebook group now has almost 2,500 members, with subscription options now available to take part in regular events and workshops across the area.
