Local tots take on library reading challenge

TWO young readers have completed Bear’s Reading Adventure, a reading scheme run by the Book Trust for babies and toddlers at Lyme Regis Library.

The youngsters also recently enjoyed a lively Pyjamarama Rhyme Time, with songs, rhymes, stories and a free book to take home.

The next event for children at the library will be to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ at 2.30pm on Friday, July 12.

This will be a fun event for babies and toddlers, for which Primary Colours in Lyme Regis has kindly donated a ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ prize for a free draw for all those who attend.

Contact the library on 01297 443151 for more information on events or follow on Facebook.
